This is one to make the Great-Grandpas proud! We took Princess TD and Little TD out on the boat today. Princess TD got to drive the boat, and she was thrilled! They both have little fishing rods, and were practicing their casting. Princess TD was getting pretty good by the end of it! Little TD took a little longer to get used to what he needed to do. He too, was getting the hang of it by the end. I was very impressed! I think we'll have 2 fishermen on our hands pretty soon!
Now, to the title...both kiddos had Disney rods. Princess TD a Princess one (of course), and Little TD had a "Cars" one. "Had" being the key word here. No, the one that got away was not a big fish...but Little TD's rod!!! Unfortunately, the rods don't float! So, on his last cast, he got a little overzealous and let the whole rod go! So if you are ever in Lake Conroe near April Plaza Marina and feel like practicing your SCUBA diving in the murky waters, there's a "Cars" rod in 21 ft of water for the taking!!!
After 2 hours on the boat, the kiddos were exhausted. I couldn't let the moment go by without a picture. They both looked so peaceful!

Oh my, I love it!!! So sweet!!! My favorite is where they are both fishing side by side together. Oh wait, I love the tired out picture too!! Looks like a fun day for the TD Family.
